MARY BETH'S BEAN BAG WORLD MONTLY
CELEBRATES ELECTION 2000
WITH THE IMA HERO™ COLLECTION

Mary Beth's Bean Bag World Monthly Magazine knows the importance of elections in this country, and its article "Elections 2000" (November 2000 issue) spotlights "other" candidates in the presidential lineup, including the IMA Hero™ Collection (on page 65).

Here's what Mary Beth's has to say:

The Civics Lesson
IMA Hero's mission is to educate, in this case to make us search for political heroes.

'Making an electoral plush piece is one way to reach an audience and share the importance of voting,' said [Kathy] Malowney, founder of IMA Hero™. 'One vote does make a difference. Therefore, if one plush animal can get one person to vote, the plush animal has made a difference,' she said.

The IMA Hero™ collection is a series of teddy bears designed to introduce people to historical figures. Each bear tells the life story of a person actively involved in national politics.

'During Ben Franklin's life, the United States did not have formal political parties. However, Ben supported the U.S. Constitution which made him a Federalist,' said Malowney. 'Abe Lincoln and Ulysses S. Grant were Republican. In fact, Abe and Ulysses were the first and second Republican Presidents.'

StarRise Creations appreciates Mary Beth's Bean Bag World Monthly for recognizing the importance of elections and the political process and for spreading the "GET OUT AND VOTE" message.

Do your part and vote on November 7, 2000!
